Around the year 1900, there was an emerging scientific interest in man and human behaviour. Among other things, this involved a concern about quality of population, especially regarding children. A whole movement, Child Study Movement, emerged both United States Europe, revolving around Different experts were united their state population children developed variety models methods to improve characteristics health One category concerned particular: misbehaved.
 Drawing on Foucauldian perspective biopower, article explores how psychiatry played important role sorting categorizing schoolchildren early welfare during interwar years. Society demanded new ways controlling biopower – which is administering maximizing vitality became central element governing.  In article, it argued that involvement psychiatrists occurred three steps: part creating defining categories “problem children” within system, due influence from mental movement establishment advisory clinics and, finally, through hospitalization specialization 1940s.
